Time Revolution

laura+apples1.jpg

Time Revolution is a performance lecture that exposes the human perception of time as integral to the formation of societies. It physically demonstrates and compares two modes of understanding time structure: linear time and Marco Cuevas-Hewitt's notion of the perpetual present. Drawing on theories grounded in science, philosophy and sociology, Time Revolution seeks to encourage a re-evaluation of our own human existence and to challenge common perceptions of time and history that are upheld by Western capitalist society.
